Benefit Point Counters
BlackChip Poker makes it easy for you to keep an eye on your progress as you move upward through the various levels of the benefits program. In the main poker client, simply click on the “Rewards” tab and two counters will display how you are doing.
One counter displays how many points you’ve earned within a calendar month. The other counter displays how many points you’ve earned within a calendar year.

Player Points Expire Only Should You Let Them
Provided that you earn at least one player point in a calendar year your player points will never expire. It’s as simple as logging in one day and playing one hand a ring game or one tournament. Do this, and your player points will always be yours. Should you fail to earn one player point in a calendar year, your points will be set to expire on December 31st of that year.

Rakeback players are still on the weight contributed rake scheme, however, non Rakeback players receive points based on dealt rake scheme methodology for the Elite Benefits program.
Dealt: The easiest method of calculating rake generated. It is calculated simply by dividing the rake taken from the table by the amount of players dealt cards in the hand. Example: $1 rake with 10 players dealt cards. Each player would receive $0.10 in MGR attributed to them.
Weighted Contributed: Weighted contributed is like contributed, but is different in the fact that it allocates MGR based on how much of the pot a player contributed to. Example: Three players contributed money to the pot. The pot is $20 with a $1 rake. Player 1 and player 2 each contributed $8 and player 3 contributed the remaining $4. Player 1 and 2 would each receive 40% of the rake in MGR ($0.40) and Player 3 would receive the remaining 20% ($0.20).

Every Multi-Table tournament begins at a specified date and time. It’s a good idea to register for tournaments in advance, however BlackChip Poker’s late registration feature lets you register for the tournament even after multiple levels of the tournament have passed. The amount of levels in the late registration period varies per tournament. You can find out how many levels remain in the tournament lobby for any specific tournament.
To register for these Online Poker tournaments, you must pay your buy-in plus the registration fee. A $10 No Limit tournament would actually cost $11. Once the buy-in has been paid, you’ll be taken to your table and receive your starting chips. All players will start the tournament with an equal number of chips. Each tournament has a maximum of 10 players per table; all registered players will be randomly seated. As players get knocked out, tables are closed and players are moved to other tables to ensure tables remain balanced.

The majority of Black Chip Poker tournaments also offer satellites. Satellites are smaller tournaments that take place prior to the tournament in question in which the winner(s) are rewarded an entry or ticket to the bigger prize pool event.
Players can parlay a smaller initial investment into an entry to play in a bigger event that would normally be out of reach because the cost is too big for their bankroll. Satellites can level the playing field by allowing all players an opportunity to play in higher buy-in/big ticket events.
